Combine as many Symbols as possible

• Combine two symbols to get a new one
• Mutate a symbol to get a random symbol

Combining existing symbols is always better than mutating. But if you have exhausted your option, mutation might give you a symbol.

Combining Symbols

To combine symbols, first select two symbols. Then highlight all symbol parts that are NOT in both symbols (XOR).

Every two symbols have a unique combined symbol. But not every symbol is valid. 

Invalid Symbols

Symbols are invalid if either

• The symbol consists of only center parts
• Parts of the symbol do not connect

Mutation

Mutating a symbol is independent of the selected symbol. The result is a random combination of two already found symbols (valid or invalid).
